81. Oddly enough.

I just read a thread about someone getting a bat in their house and responded to it with a solution. Now, if someone could help me deal with the wasps coming into my house through the range vent over the stove... Any ideas so I can sleep peacefully. The first one hit the burner (yes, I am cooking homemade vegetable soup in the middle of the night, I am weird that way). Luckily he only got stunned and when he fell through the little hole at the bottom of the metal thing under the burner, he only stayed under there about 10 minutes before he crawled back out and died for me. Now, the problem here is I can't just turn all the burners on and hope for the best, because my cat noticed the whole thing and now he's stalking the stove. I don't want him getting up there as a habit, but I don't want to burn him either. I've got a good old fashioned dilemma. Also, I don't want my electricity bill to go that high. The National Weather Service along with Mother Nature has already made it go up this week with 100 plus temperatures and advisories most of the week... Dilemma...
