Rant!!! Someone scraped off some of my bumpertickers today!!!!

My rear bumper had 6 bumperstickers on it, my Randi Rhodes "I'm a fancy pants elitist" sticker, my Kerry- Edwards sticker, my Bush- Cheney we need a timeout sticker, my Defend America Defeat Bush sticker, my Impeach Bush sticker, and my DemocraticUnderground sticker Now all it has is the Randi Rhodes sticker. I have some Kerry- Edwards stickers left and another DU sticker but I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get the others. I might have to get a couple of each just in case. :mad: :mad: :puke: :grr: :grr: :nuke: :cry: :cry: :banghead: :rant:

1. That happened to me not too long ago

Someone stole my "Bush is a punk ass chump" sticker and replaced it with one advertising the Rush Limbaugh show. I was not amused. I replaced it with one that says "Yeeeee-Haw is not a foreign policy".

they are so into the Freedoms of America, (you know that is why the Terrorists hate us) but GOD POUND it, if our freedom of speech goes against their tiny little world view, then they have to tear the sticker off. I hate to think what I would do to someone doing it to my car if I caught them !! I am pissed, let me know if you need any more Kerry/Edwards, we just bought a bunch off EBay. I will gladly ship one out to you.:(

some people have no sense of boundaries. I would never remove someone's bumperstickers even some really repulsive ones that I totally disagreed with. I've been known to leave some under the windshield wiper when I think they would add to an existing collection......and I did add one of my "bring the troops home now" yellow ribbons to a car with all the W stickers and support the troops ribbons. I wonder how long it took them to notice.
But peeling someone's stickers is out of line.
I have a couple extra "the mind is like a parachute, it only works when open" if you want. Jus sayin'

6. Sorry, your bumperstickers were

violated! That's the first thing I look at when I go to my car, just in case.

There is a man out here in upper New York whose yard signs were stolen(The Number of Soldiers who Died in Iraq, The Number of Iraqi civilians killed, and "Impeach bush")..they also wrote "Commie" on his bales of wrapped hay.

The upside is that he was on the local news last night once at 5:00pm & 6:00pm and presented himself very well. He had also gotten a threatening letter..telling him to keep his views to himself so he said on tv.."If the person had been brave enough to sign their name I would have asked them to dinner so we could discuss this.

He stated that he filed a police report not to proscecute but so it would stop. More signs are back up and he turned the "Commie" thing into a written montage of all different kinds of people in the World on his bales of wrapped hay..i.e."Muslim", Jew, Christian, teacher, father, son, mother, daughter, ad infinitum and he made a smiley face in the "C:)mmie".

I know this guy..he comes into our coop and sells his asparagus and raspberries.

I have always kept my Kerry bumoper sticker proudly displayed on my fridge, where it still is. It was never on my car. My Kerry yard sign is still in the garage and I used to take it in each night before the election because the local Dem committee people said people were getting theirs stolen constantly.

Admittedly, the idea came from a woman who wrote into a local paper around election time last year. It was an open letter to "the people who stole the Kerry/Edwards signs" out of her front yard. She said simply that she had donated $100 to the Kerry campaign after the theft had occured, and she wpi;d keep putting signs out. Every time a sign was stolen, she'd donate another $100. I thought it was brilliant, and the bumper sticker idea kind of sprung from there. :)
