5. I couldn't believe that!!
I thought for sure they would have enough lifeboats or something to get everyone off the ship. I almost fell off the couch when the ship broke apart and sank.

6. That's strange,
I thought it was about a cattle rancher Bick Benedict (Rock Hudson) who visits a farm in Maryland to buy a horse. Whilst there he meets and falls in love with the owner's daughter Leslie (Elizabeth Taylor). They are married almost immediately and return to Bick's Texas Ranch. The rest of the film follows their family through almost two full generations, as they see many changes to their lifestyle imposed by the discovery of oil on Jett's land and his unceasing efforts to buy them out.

10. funny story about that.
a friend of mine was working at a movie theater when it first came out.

someone called asking for times, this was a family run theater, so they didn't have the automated answer thing yet. so she gave the times for Titanic, then as a joke said "Oh yeah, and in the end of the movie the boat sinks" The person on the other line FLIPPED OUT!!!

She was like "i wanna talk to a manager!!! blah blah blah!!! how dare you!?" My friend just goes "idiot." and placed the phone gently back on the receiver. since her parents ran the show, i don't think they really cared.

12. I agree
and it could have been averted, had the shipping company not been so arrogant.

My grandma almost went on the Titanic (she was 4 at the time)

She said her family missed boarding by 15 minutes. :(

16. Half way through the movie I wanted it to sink
Yeah, yeah I know it was based on a real tragedy but that was by far the most over hyped film of all times.
