6. I was just about to go to bed

when someone in Japan tried to send a fax to my phone---twice.

Fortunately, they e-mailed me so that I could send them my real fax number.

Then, when the fax came in, the paper kept jamming, so I had to stand over it and guide the paper through.

So now I'm wide awake and not happy about it.

Had a rough day - a friend died this afternoon afer a very short but awful battle with cancer. Maybe I'll try an Ambien.

I am a Police Officer and have been for a number of years.

I have only been in the ER due to personal injury and injury to other Officers on a few occasions. Mainly I am there with a suspect in custody that is being treated or a victim that I need to speak with. The victim could be anything from someone that has been shot to someone in a vehicle accident. Also, hospitals are required to call us when certain types of injuries or anything suspicious comes in. I visit the ER between 2-3 times a week.

but she didn't have insurance so she had to get a gold card from the hospital district and then wait. Her foot sure has been painful but that will taken care of today.

We do computer support, yes in the US of A. So we handle the Greater Asia Region the first half of the shift, then Europe wakes up halfway through the night. Not a bad gig, except for the guy from Kuwait who insists on calling us from traffic on his cell phone.
