18. If I had enough room for a storage shed, I'd consider converting my garage
It's only a one-car garage, but it holds an amazing amount of stuff, including my car when I'm home. It's saved me from hail damage so it comes in handy.

14. I thought about going that route
(bottle of whiskey in a decanter, etc) but we decided to do a more modern thing down here. It's a mess right now, but it cleans up nicely.

20. we're thinking we might build a detached garage
at some point down the line. Not sure we'll even bother, though.

P-Nut ever find your place, btw?

22. I told p-nut to wait until winter.
The weather is nice enough here then to work outside. He can help me cut back all the perennials and then repair the fence. Then there's replacing the flashing around all the vent pipes in the roof and redoing some drywall on one ceiling and painting that. Those are the only big projects left that I won't leave to a professional (like replacing the a/c-furnace unit and a total re-roof).

27. I'll also have to get over my fear of ladders.
Edited on Mon Aug-01-05 07:51 AM by GOPisEvil
Anything more than a few feet off the ground, and I get wobbly in the head. Stepping off a ladder onto the roof? :scared: Put me on the Space Needle and I'm fine, but a ladder 10 feet off the ground gets me scared. :eyes:

28. I've never been able to deal with that either.
Nine years at Rancho Uly, and I never once got on that roof. Got close once, putting up Christmas lights, and nearly fell off the damned ladder.
