I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?"
They're really saying "I love you"

I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world

Oh yeah

5. I honestly love that song.
It is so simple and so beautiful.

Thank goodness for music. It is such a wonderful place to hide and refresh and reboot.

Thanks for reminding me of this wonderful song.

7. Our youth choir sang it at the wedding I attended Saturday
evening,
and it was the theme song for their choir tour in England as well. Their voices are so pure and earnest. And the bride was an alumna of that choir, and her sister is currently a member of that choir.

It was beautiful

8. This song makes me think of my son. It seems like
I hear it when I need to hear from him. It always makes me cry, but in a good way. It's gonna be all right, momma.

He would have been 21 last Wednesday.
