1. Sylvester
I always wanted him to catch that Tweety Bird. Also the coyote...I always wanted him to get the Road Runner. Finally, Elmer Fudd--I always wanted him to get Bugs.

28. When I lived in Virginia Beach
Edited on Mon Aug-01-05 02:42 PM by mutley_r_us
There was a restaraunt (I can't remember the name of it) that had a little statue of Wile E. Coyote standing there with a gun in one hand and the roadrunner dead in the other. So morbid but hilarious! And yes, it used to frustrate me that he never caught the roadrunner, EVER!

24. Daffy has the funniest cartoons. Bugs just had good lines.
"Get back on them eggs!" "Yes, dear."

"I maybe a craven little coward, but I'm a GREEDY, craven little coward."

"Ok, let's go back over this. It's rabbit season, shoot him. No no, it's duck season shoot him.' 'It's rabbit.' 'Duck season.' 'Rabbit season.' 'Rabbit season, shoot me, shoot me.' 'It's Duck season. Shoot me! Shoot me!' Ohhhhh, I get it. Pronoun trouble"

and I always have a lot of sympathy for Sylvester...poor guy was just following his nature and never got a break.

I didn't have the same sympathy for the Coyote... I guess he came across as arrogant to me. ;)

Or maybe it was that tweety bird was so much more annoying than Road Runner who was cool.

But I always liked the pre roadrunner Wile E Coyote and sheepdog cartoons. From the time card check in to the end of the day. just hilarious.

A treasury of great laughter.
