Would you do homeopathic treatment for poor blood circulation? |
|
And I don't mean impotence, I mean stuff like Raynaud's syndrome, et al, that affects the entire body...

but I would assume "probably not" for me. I'm skeptical of homeopathic treatments. I'd have to talk it over w/ an expert first.

2. If it was a big problem, I'd expect that I'd try anything. |
|
I have my doubts about that homeopathic stuff, but it doesn't seem like there is any downside to trying it, except for the expense; the whole premise of homeopathy would seem to mitigate against bad side effects.

4. Chelation is suppose to be great for clearing out the blood system |
|
of junk without any side effects. I went to a doctor that used it. He had a lot of patients - some who I met - who would be dead without the chelation therapy. He had one lady whose legs turned to stone. I'm not sure what the name of it is. She had to come to the sessions on a gurney. She got the therapy for 6 months and ended up as good as new.

6. I'd rather just drink distilled water. |
|
Which, when you think about it, is all a homeopathic treatment is: distilled water.
I'd rather have placebo suger pills; at least then I'd get something out of it. Like about 5 calories.

8. Chelation, compression therapy |
|
and a low-fat, high STARCH (NOT simple carbs - potatoes, brown rice and lots of veggies) diet with a lot of added garlic and cayenne pepper.
I just got some compression stockings to help clear up an ulcer I got on my leg when I retained nearly 30 pounds of water while I spent almost two months homebound with an ankle in a cast. They are rated medium-high and they're a royal bitch to put on, but once they're there they feel very good, almost like a massage. You can literally feel the capillary function improving.
So yes, if your circulation is bad, there are ways to treat it that are MUCH better than the shit the legal drug pushers make in their little labs.

9. I say give it a try! -If you find a good homeopathic doctor it should work |
|
I used a herbal tonic called "Warming/Circulation Tonic." After the second bottle (one dropper full each morning in my tea) the problem went away. I also added 1000 mg vitamin E and L-Tyrosone (amino acid) each day. I did some research to come up with this combination.
As for homeopathic treatments, after the initial consultation with a homeopathic doctor (don't try do figure out your remedy yourself) it's very inexpensive and there are no side effects. It can take a few months for homeopathic remedies to work. If you want to learn more about it, there is a very good, short and simple book called"homeopathy - Beyond Flat Earth Medicine" by Timothy R. Dooley, ND, MD.

i definitely also believe in alternative medicine
the main problem though is that there are some very unqualified doctors out there and advising any kind of alternatives incl homeopathics is tricky (just like other types of medical care)
but good practitioners can provide wonderful help through alternatives such as homeopathics herbs energy medicine chelation etc but i cannot stress how important it is to go to someone who is beyond qualified technically but also knows how to skillfully apply what they are doing
ive been to many alternative practitioners incl mds who are holistic it is only over years of this combined recently with an nd that i feel i have all the pieces i feel terrible for people who get alternative advice from someone who isnt covering all the bases no wonder alternatives get a bad rap but there are some amazing practitioners also and then it is beyond worth it
so i would definitely agree with merlot do go to someone you have gotten a recommendation for and be patient and follow instructions because alternatives like homeopathics can really work

A National Institute on Aging study showed that T'ai Chi could, by improving balance and flexibility, reduce falls in seniors by 47%. Other recent studies have found significant success in treating or preventing high blood pressure, hypertension, arthritis, osteoporosis, bronchitis, depression, and Raynaud's disease among many others. It has been shown to be an ideal form of exercise for recovering coronary patients. While it does not prevent the common cold T'ai Chi players who have practiced regularly for ten years or more do not suffer as severe symptoms.

That's really helped me. It's really hard to want to move your legs at all when you have poor circulation, but walking really helps build up the blood vessels and gets your heart moving. I'm up to twenty minutes in the morning and twenty at night when it's not too hot. Also, I do bicycles in my office in the afternoon when the swelling is bad.

19. Absolutely, it's worth a shot. |

We've had great success with using homeopathic remedies for assorted ailments.
I hope you don't confuse homeopathic remedies with herbal remedies, however. They're quite different; I would hate to see you or someone you love injured by taking the wrong herb in the wrong quantity. Homeopathic medicines are taken in such small doses that there is no harm to the body, and they're not in plant form. Herbs are still herbs - encapsulated, or brewed for tea, or converted to an alcohol or water-based tincture.
One book that's been of great help to our family is called "Healthy Healing" by Linda somebodyorother.
There are also a lot of homeopathy resources available online. Happy healing!

22. I have had great success with homeopathic treatment |
|
Though not specifically for circulation problems. The biggest obstacle is finding a good practitioner and adhering to lifestyle changes. A common myth about homeopathy is that it only involves potentized remedies when it is more about wholistic treatment and removing, as Hahnemann wrote, "the obstacles to cure." I would suggest you find a homeopath who is classicly trained and is also a licensed MD. Also, learn more about homeopathy before committing to treatment. Many of it's practices are quite different than you may be used to with allopathic medicine.
