Poll question: Crunchy or Soft tacos? |
|
Inspired by leftofthedial's Taco Bell thread. I'm crunchy ALL THE WAY. A soft taco doesn't even compare, IMO.

4. I'm sorry, but I have to ask you where you live...??? |
|
Soft tortillas are NOT just for quesadillas. If you go down to Mexico and buy a taco from a street vendor, (in Baja, anyhow), 99.99% of the time it is on a soft tortilla.
My wife and I were in Cancun and went to Chichen Itza. We stopped to eat in the middle of the jungle and there was a lady making fresh corn tortillas...soft, not hard.
As my daughter would say, "Holy guacamole!"

7. How about soft corn tortillas? |
|
I mean actual mexican food, instead of the hard shells that explode when you bite them like they sell at Taco Bell.

Go to an actual Mexican restaurant, where the predominant clientele is Latino, and you WILL get soft shell corn tortillas.
