It is always great to get new perspectives, and although I post nothing of substance myself, I always look for the new people posting; it helps to expand my thought processes, (minimal as they may be).

One word of wisdom, if I may, DO NOT be afraid to post what you feel, you may well get flamed, but 99% of the time, you open new avenues that lead to the solution of a problem. Some of us are just a little to comfortable in our positions, and need a jolt occasionally. Thick skin is a plus, but not an absolute necessity. Just about the only thing I've ever seen in DU that could be considered, "lockstep ideology", is that none of us can stand the current admin., or the direction they are taking the nation.
