I miss dolfin shorts as well, and overkill on the eyeliner.

But most of all I miss the big hair..

sigh....

1. I liked skinny ties and blazers with random yachting patches as well
And "Members Only" jackets with numerous zipper pockets. Parachute pants, leg warmers, and shoelace beads were also quite hip.

3. Yuck
high hair is nasty. Did you ever see the movie "Working Girl"? There were chicks like that in the suburbs of Boston. They're probably bald now from all the perms and Aquanet.

4. Awww c'mon KinC
You can't tell me you never once had your hair permed out to high hebbin', while rocking out to Journey or Bon Jovi in an IROC Camaro....

5. Sorry, I was a punk rocker
I hated the fashions in the 80s, and wore vintage clothes a la Audrey Hepburn. For most of the 80s I had long red or blond hair-and it was straight or wavy, not huge. I was more into the early/mid-60s look. :-)

13. Nope... Not Showing...
it's showing for you because it's already in your browser's cache.

The best way to find out if the website you're linking to prohibits remote linking (which is what we all do when we insert a picture) is to click your browser's "refresh" button.

If the picture still displays properly after you click "refresh", then it will display properly for everyone else. If you get the red-x after clicking refresh, then everyone else will see the same thing.

It's a pain to remember to do it every time.

I hope this helps.

21. A friend of mine had her hair freshly moussed , stepped outside, and
walked a little too close to a yellow-jacket nest.

The boogers were stuck in her hair and stinging ferociously. A neighbor hosed her down to stop the attack. Fortunately, she wasn't allergic to them!

Needless to say, she does not miss big hair days...
