I have a copy of it on VHS and it's one of my favorites. That story inspired me to "run away" when I needed to most-I call it my "Shirley Valentine" phase. Left my kids with their Dad for 1 week, I'd needed it desperately and didn't realize it until seeing the movie. Of course, I didn't have quite so romantic a time and am now a single parent-but, hey, we've survived.
I agree, if you haven't seen it-get it!!
