My DVD copy of this came from Amazon this weekend and I haven't been able to stop watching it since. The opening is worth the price of the movie alone..."GO, BABY, GO!!! HARDER, FASTER!!!"

14. Mudhoney is AMAZING!!!

A definitely favorite of everyone I've shown it too...I'm glad this stuff is finally coming out on DVD...haven't seen Faster Pussycat since a double feature at the American Film Institute back in the late 80's with Pink Flamingos...

The DVD's extras included a trailer for Mudhoney and it looked incredible...so different from anything else, and a whole world away from bland Hollywood "product."

I can't wait to see it, but Amazon says it's supposed to take two weeks just to fill the order and only THEN will it ship--so I probably won't see it till the end of August. I got Lorna, too, since they were offering a discount if I ordered both at once.

6. I bought the DVD last week...

For anyone living in Silicon Valley, Rasputin Music on Bascom in Campbell carries a major, MAJOR "Cult / Midnight" movies section. All of the available Russ Meyer stuff, the "Misty Mundae" films, a ton of DVDs from "Something Weird" video...but finally finding "Pussycat" in the racks was a rare treat indeed.
