I got my car running again!

Yesterday, I posted a thread that described the problem I was having with my car. Many DUers replied with suggestions:

I want all you DUers to know that I went to an autoparts store after work last evening and picked up a re-manufactured alternator. I replaced my old, defective one this morning and now the car runs great! The new one only cost $34.95 (actually $45 since I wasn't exchanging an old one last evening. I took my defective one in this morning and got $10 back. Now that's recycling!)
