11. Vernors Ginger Ale ...
Edited on Fri Nov-07-03 05:21 PM by white_rider
Our Nation's oldest soda ...
http://hcs.harvard.edu/~dins/history/gingerale.shtml

Our Nations oldest soda is Vernors Ginger Ale, and it was created over 130 years ago. Many of today’s soft drinks take an understandable pride in their histories, but they all must bow to Vernors.

Slurp ... hmmmm. And good with Irish whiskey.

Edited on Fri Nov-07-03 06:03 PM by white_rider
... since that has been the only place I've been able to find it here on the West Coast. In my northern California town, it sells relatively fast.

And if that doesn't help, one can always order online $$$.

I used to go for Mello Yello, but now Mountain Dew is my fave.
It's more crisp and refreshing than Mello Yello, which I've noticed is more like sugary syrup.

19. Jolt, followed by,
in no particular order:

Fresca, Diet Vanilla Coke, Izze (a regional, Fruit Juice based soda), Tommyknocker Vanilla Cream, Wienhardt's (sp) root beer.

I'm a soda snob, I admit it.

Given a choice, tea and club soda are the top slots.

Red Rock kicks ass. Real ginger, cane suger (not high-fructose corn syrup), and just a touch of cayenne pepper.

45. Fresca and Diet Rite
Fresca :9 and it makes a great mixer too with tequila.

DR I drink b/c they use Splenda instead of of aspertame

I ADORE Ginger Ale (esp. Ginger Beer) and I wish some GA maker would start using Splenda. After using Atkins for a year, I find even the diet ones too sweet.
