Speaking of commericials...which ones grate on your last nerve?

1. Car website commercials with music that sounds like bowel noise

2. The new chicken fry commercial from Burger King

3. A paticular home security company's ad.

It shows a guy breaking in, the alarm sounds, the woman gathers her kids to her, the phone rings and it is the security company calling to ask if she is alright, she tells them what has happened, he says he will call the police, she breathes a sight of relief as if the problem is over with.

She still has a burglar in the house and the cops aren't there yet! And time that could have been available for police response was used up talking to the alarm company.

And it is a classic "Woman-needs-protecting" theme.

She should call 911 herself from a cell phone as she gathers the kids to a safe room, then guard the door with a shotgun, while staying on the phone to the police until they get there.

4. Local commercial for Mobility Depot power chairs

The man who needs a power chair says, "What little manhood I've got, I want to keep! Paw Paw has the coolest chair in town!"

Not so much grating as it is hilarious.

7. Radio voices that really get off on what they are saying.

Chapman Ford in Philadelphia is one. Most of the others are people who describe food. It's for keeping your strength up, not for masturbating with. There should be ratings on these kind of commercials.

Those go on my boycott list immediately. Not ever nap friendly when dozing off with teevee on.
