Whew, Two Temporary Detention orders in 2 hours

As yall know I am a mental health worker, part of my job is crisis assessment.

1. The first was pretty cut and dry, severe psychosis but I got him in the hospital fairly quick.

2. The second without details involved, the governer, capitol police and two FBI agents and someone with severe psychosis. Made it really interesting.

I am now tired, anyone wanna buy me a drink. How about a Corona Slinkerwink

When I got back to the work desk and posted and nobody reaaly responded, well you know me, i got all codependent and went home.


The second TDO was neat. Its like in that case I go into a scene and TAKE CONTROL, over fbi, guvner, police, and ask Whats up?

Not bad for a social worker.

BTW- A TDO puts a person in the hospital not jail. It is for psychiatric observation.

Again- Not bad for someone who either should be in jail or dead. Due to a over zelous youth, I got smart as a Naval Corpsmen. That is why i am so defense about support for the troops.

12. I gotta question.

If you deal with severe psychotics do you get desensitized and used to it? When you're in a group of people and somebody psychotic comes up and start talking do you yawn and not really pay attention, in comparison with people who don't have the experience?
