I can't believe that Six Feet Under is ending in 3 episodes.
And after last Sunday, I'm heartbroken.

Just plain heartbroken.

Anybody else?

1. yes, I am very sad to see it go...
Last week's episode had my head spinning... I am really looking forward to seeing how they resolve these story lines!

2. I was shocked at last week's.
Still feel weird about it.

I guess that's when you know:

1. The writers did a great job with characters & the show if you're emotionally affected by what happens, and

2. I need to get a life.

3. I have seen only 2 episodes......
I have become the family joke... I am supposedly 'just like' the female lead in the show. I watched 2 episodes w/ my sis-in -law. We are both quirky, yes... but I have yet to see real similarities. I won't watch any more until I can get seasons in re-runs.

4. Female lead, meaning the daughter, Claire or Ruth the mother?

6. If they're comparing you to Ruth...
I wouldn't take it as a compliment. I think she's out of her mind.

5. The main event jarred me
Especially since the two characters it involves were on bad terms with each other at that time.

7. I was thinking about this earlier today
and however heartbreaking this past episode was I don't know what I'm going to do with myself at 10 p.m. on August 21st when SFU is six feet under.

9. Another "left-leaning" show that has been cancelled. Like "Carnivale",
and "Chappelle".
HBO's "It Takes a Family", airing in 2006??

10. Yeah, because HBO is so right wing with their programming
Edited on Thu Aug-04-05 05:44 PM by RummyTheDummy
Bill Maher's TV show and comedy specials, Real Sex No. 1-80, the show about the whore house in Nevada, Taxi Cab Confessions, Chris Rock's TV show and comedy specials, their movie "Normal" about the cross dressing husband and on and on and on.

About the only thing that could be considered right wing on HBO is Dennis Miller's recent comedy special. And nobody watched that because he's a no talent hack.

I hated Six Feet Under. Not because of the theme of the show, but because it was pure crapola IMO. I gave it several chances. Just didn't float my boat.

12. What don't I like would be the better question

I like almost every regular show on HBO. Deadwood, the Sopranos,Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage, almost all of their comedy specials, (except Miller), Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, all of their documentaries etc., Real Time.

I'm also a huge Morgan Spurlock fan and watched "30 Days" every week and of course being a guy, I watch a lot of sports on TV. I no longer watch any kind of cable news. Fox, MSRNC, and CNN are blocked out of my lineup.

On regular cable and broadcast TV, I must say, my tastes are shameful. I watch a lot of reality TV. I know. I should be embarrassed.

I really did give Six Feet Under multiple chances. Just wasn't my cup of tea. I found it a tad morose. I did get into Carnivale late and I think they made a big mistake canceling it.
