Poll question: Should any/all of the Dem Prez candidates visit the American wounded? |
|
Dumbo and his evil henchmen don't want people to see the kids with arms and legs blown off, but they should, and the only way to bring about the issue of wounded servicemen/women is to really do something outrageous. This visit would be a real breachof protocol, but I think people need to be slapped in the face as to how awfula nd evil Dumbo is.

Maybe we can have a debate in Walter Reed. Let the injured soldiers ask some questions too.

2. Yeah, and maybe they can have a debate when the 38 soldiers who |
|
dies this week are unloaded in caskets off the plane.
This is really one of the lowest things Dumbo has ever done, and we've got a lot to choose from.

And does anyone know how to suggest this to the candidates?
Think anyone would do it?

4. I can see it two ways. |
|
1) The soldiers are touched that SOME one from Washington came to see about them; or
2) They are bitter at the candidates who voted for the Iraq resolution: "So YOU voted to send us to that Goddamned place!" or, "You voted against the resolution, so you think my sacrifice was for nothing??"
It could get very tricky....

8. There'd have to be a lot of advance work-- |
|
--you don't want to have your second scenario.
And you don't want it to come across just as grabbing some attention.

9. Yeah, the media would *love* that second one!!! |
|
It would be risky. Now, Clark could get away with it, no matter what happened; they would be respectful to him. Kerry, maybe, as another veteran.
But the others?? I dunno.

with Bush abandoning his duties any potential president should be seen visiting and offering moral support to wounded men.
This is the first time in history I have seen a leader in any country not visiting wounded soldiers or attending a funeral or giving support to families of servicmen/women who have died.

Seriously, this neglect on the part of Dumbo is a disgrace.
