6. Yeah, I've seen that. Gilliam appears very difficult to work with.
His brain seems to blur the line between fantasy and reality too.

7. the price of genius...
i would think the cache exchange rate to be worth the investment but that's just me :shrug: other directors have access to mountains of money for little more than wasting raw film stock imo go figure

9. Problem is that Hollywood cares about money and not art.
Sadly Gilliam doesn't provide that bang for the buck that Hollywood demands. He's not a typical Hollywood director and he's somewhat blacklisted. Very few people in the game want to touch him.

10. too true...
still, working with a bona fide visionary is of value somewhere; stone had to get german backing for: alexander, for many of the same reasons while hollywood keeps casting cruise for crying out loud so that i'm hearing you on this one
