"I am not comfortable with people trying to blow up my daughters"
An email today from a friend back home, whose eldest lives in London and youngest just returned from four months there. This is one of my dearest friends. She has been/remains a best friend to both my sisters for more than twenty years. I can't wait to see her when I go home in November.

Think a kind thought for my bud today. :) TY

2. i'm not sure what i intended to accomplish by posting this
that sentence just struck me as so funny, and so poignant. I can't even think of what goes on over there in political terms. People I love have their lives there. It's not political. It's scary as hell. No amount of screaming about * or Blair is going to stop people from blowing up the tube if they want to do it again.
