Vicente Fox had been living with the same woman for years, after he was elected, there was all this hooha and so they got married.

No big deal.

Buchanan and Cleveland were both elected as bachelors, with Cleveland marrying while in office.

Jefferson, Arthur and Wilson were among the widower presidents (may have been a few more). Arthur was a very sociable president - throwing lavish parties. Wilson's first wife died in office, and he remarried a well-known Washingotn socialite during his term.

But there was not as much Secret Service protection in those days.
