Do you shop at Big Lots?
I like Big Lots cause I can find quality stuff real cheap. Like Lysol or wrapping paper.

When you are on a budget, every penny saved counts.

I will admit by their design the selection is poor.

1. Yes
where else can you get toothpast for .79?

I love the place, and I hate to shop.

2. I live there.
And I don't believe they are evil. They buy stuff out from some of the smaller companies that get pushed out of the major grocery stores (you have to pay big bucks for shelf space). Or...the big corps can unload their crap on them, still make a slight profit, and pass off their defective products on us unwitting consumers. It's all good. :)

9. I HATE Big Lots.
Granted, they have cheap stuff but the stores (at least here in NE Ohio) are dirty and have these little narrow aisles. Invariably, the aisle that I want to go down is occupied by a woman roughly as wide as she is tall who insists on either chatting on her cell phone or spending 10 minutes deciding whether she wants the blue or the green 29-cent item.

It was so frustrating that I stopped shopping there. Thje extra couple of bucks I spend it worth it...

14. Big Lots is right across the street from my apartment
and I absolutely love it! I get all my spices and toiletries there. Sometimes I find great holiday decorations there, too.

This has been scarlet_owl for Big Lots.

15. Not For Everything
I wouldn't buy a tool there for example, but they do have some stuff like shampoo, toothpaste and cleaning supplies that make it worthwhile.

18. I used to work for a man...
who LOVED to shop at Big Lots. I still remember one spree when he came back with ten translucent plastic flashlights (two of each color). Every time he went he'd overdo it like that.

I agree with MercutioATC about the quality of the stores in NE Ohio, they're in bad shape. Perhaps I was the fatass broad who ruined his shopping experience (haven't been there in years though).

19. Discounts
I like Big Lots, Dollar General, and Family Dollar for good prices on household stuff. You can also get good buys on OTC meds at the latter two stores.
