36. I thought about saying "no hair"...
...but figured I'd give it away too soon, and that someone was going to recognize him from the 1947 shot..which is exactly what happened.

Another EXCELLEN one, that came out on DVD around the same time as the Tierney flick:

...I HIGHLY recommend it if you like the old "film noir" stuff.

Ah, the good old days - Lawrence Tierney, Charles McGraw, Steve Cochran, ... The worst part about 24-hr cable TV is no late-late show, when these guys reigned in my youth.

25. Reservoir Dogs is a 1992 film.
While I agree it is a classic, your date threw me off.
It still looks a little like Spencer Tracy. Maybe it is the hat.

I like good films, not arty ones.
And arty films about criminals are boring.

Though it was only in one episode. That voice singing Les Miz.

...was really similar to the Tarantino flicks. It's one of my favorites, too. I'm not a huge Danny Aiello fan, but damn...he KILLED in that flick.

39. That's Joe!
From Reservior Dogs.

AKA

The late, great Lawrence Tierney.

And, if I'm not mistaken, this shot is from "Born to Kill"?

Have you seen the commentary on the 10th anniversary Res Dogs DVD? Apparently Tierney was a real wild-man. Everything from outdrinking the crew to stealing Chris Penn's patio furniture.

...and yeah, Tierney pretty much terrorized the filming of "Reservoir Dogs."
