Racoons hate Limbaugh
My friend had a problem with racoons coming into her house. It got so bad they were trying to haul the cat food bag out of the house through the cat door (the bag was actually jammed in the cat door).

That was just too much so she put a radio just inside the cat door - tuned to RW talk shows.
It worked! No more racoons!

10. Yep! Too true. Have a look. :D
A raccoon I raised:

_____________

Backyard Bandits (Mother and Babies):

We gave them tubs of water to play in and an occasional treat: feeder fish. :)

12. Are the last two pictures paintings?
I've never seen a raccoon with so much blond / brown in its coat, but there are regional differences. We have a few blond coons in our area. I got to know one female pretty well, but she was not as distinctly different as the raccoons in the third pic.

11. Yep, animals have an innate sense of what is evil
and avoid it.

It's amazing, and I believe it firmly.

I truly believe they can detect evil, like a Paladin.

16. I agree 110% and
they don't just use their nose to sense the danger of said evil. They use all their senses to detect bullshit including when they hear it and stay away...

15. Animals are smart unlike
some of our fellow humans. They do tend to favor democrats. One of my dogs (RIPp) used to growl when he heard Bush's voice. Smart dog. Also, they do definitely have taste when it comes to music. Same said dog hated country music and footsteps. I had another dog at one time that would growl ferociously at the sound of footsteps on television. I have a cat who hates jazz, unfortunately, but she does love most punk.

20. They do react sometimes.
Sometimes, like if they are sleepy, they won't show you what they like and don't like. It's fun to try to figure out what individual songs they like too. Sunday Girl, my oldest cat, got her name because she reacted to the song "Sunday Girl" by Blondie by walking over to the speaker and sitting down as a young pre-weened kitten and rocking back and forth to the beat. She still does that from time to time now.

19. Tatts no, break stuff yes.
All three of them seem to like punk. When I play some songs they take turns getting on the couch and diving off of it onto their toys and each other and run around like they are partying. Honest. They are truly punk rock cats.
