Woo hoo! I hit the trifecta! (illness update)

So...the laryngitis and the cold/flu symptoms finally progressed to the point where I went to the doctor.

I have a double ear infection AND a sinus infection!

And now I get these massive amoxicillin tablets that make me nauseous! YESSSS!

Ah well. I should be better very soon.

3. Me too! Aren't we lucky?

Today I ran to Urgent care for a stupid rash on my arms and chest that has been waking me up at night for the past week straight...then I get to my construction trailer and the water pump is jammed on flooded the entire place (oh joy!) and then some anticipated female issues arose and I wrecked my outfit for the day. Needless to say I have a shirt tied around my waist.

So I am having about as good a day as you are! Get well soon...

5. Nothing sucks like any kind of cold - especially in the summer!

Only good thing when I get a cold - I could audition and win a gig as an FM deejay - reallly low low (some say sexy) voice. The secretaries at work all get a kick out of it - makes me smile.

I know is sounds weird - but soup - chicken soup - seems to keep me comforted and heal more quickly - even in the summertime.

7. That's no fun at all

Starting in 1990, I got pneumonia twice a year for about eight years - until I moved to California, actually - the worst part about it was the fact that the anti-biotics they gave me made me so sick. They told me to take them with food, so I'd take the first one with food, then be so nauseous that I couldn't have choked down anything to eat by the time I needed to take the next one. :grr:

Sinus infections suck. I hope you feel better soon. :hi:

the noodles may seem a bit weird to a cheesehead who has presumably been brought up on Campbell's; they are saimin noodles, a local specialty. Much thicker and tastier than Campbell's.

Just remember, in the words of our iconic local comedian Frank De Lima, "You'll have to pull the noodles out/or breathe them back in/so don't sneeze when you eat saimin!"
