Least threatening team mascots
Seriously - Penn Quakers? There's a team mascot named after a religious organization known for it's peace, non-violent ways.

What other teams have the least violent team mascot names

28. Nebraska Cornhuskers
What are you gonna do? Shuck me to death?

Others:

Oklahoma Sooners: Yeah, that's menacing. What's your menace? Plant me in some dust?

TCU Horned Frogs: Umm... ribbit?

Maryland Terrapins: If Oklahoma's sooner, this would be later. Turtles are slow.

Whittier Poets: I guess these folks play on the "prose"n tundra.

Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys: Wonder powers, ACTIVATE!!

Delaware Blue Hens: Wow. Call them chickens and they have to admit it.

Franklin & Marshall College Diplomats: Instead of tackling you, they'll want to sit down and establish a dialogue.

Centenary College Gentlemen: Can I open this door for you?

Concordia College Cobbers: See Nebraska.

Erskine College Flying Fleet: I don't even know what to say.

Greensboro Pride: Do they goeth before a fall?

Haverford College Fords: Well, either they're an incompetent ex-president or a way to cross a river. Not too threatening.

UMass-Boston Beacons: One if by land, two if by getting your asses kicked with that name.

Nyack College Purple Pride: Damn. Just damn.

Pomona-Pitzer College Sagehens: It's like a quail. Menacing, I tell you.

Rowan University Profs: We will, we will, FLUNK you!!

St. Bonadventure Bonnies: Do they lie over the ocean, or over the sea?

Southern New Hampshire University Penmen: I guess if you really think it's mightier than the sword.

Stetson University Hatters: Only menacing to Alice.

Tennessee-Chattanooga Mocs: It's a soft leather shoe without a hard sole... and that's threatening, how?

Upper Iowa University Peacocks: Only threatening to Sagehens.

Wabash College Little Giants: Um, what? Oxymoron?

Washburn University of Topeka Ichabods: Ichabod is in Hebrew "inglorious" (1 Samuel 4:21). And what were they thinking?

Webster University Gorloks: W...T...F?!?

Williams College Ephs: See Webster.
