As far as I can tell, most of the Christian preachers have almost totally abandoned the precepts of Jesus as laid out in the New Testament and have proceeded to actively participate in national politics for the own gains. I'm not a Christian but I have to believe that those who are true Christians, following Jesus's lead, must be sick as the realize that their religion has been hijacked by some greedy, cruel and crazy megalomaniacs.
