Warner Bros. Releasing Classic TV Westerns on September 27th
To include:

"Maverick"

and

"Cheyenne"

**********************************************************************
Also being released:

"F Troop"

"Chico and the Man"

. . . and "The Dukes of Hazzard"

**********************************************************************
A word of caution: These are single-CD COMPILATIONS - NOT boxed, year-by-year episode sets.

You'd think with Warner Brothers celebrating their 50th anniversary in television, they'd want to do it up right. But NOOOOOOOOO! :(

Sheesh, what cheapskates.

1. What company produced Paladin?
As a kid I loved Saturday night westerns.

I typically had to take my weekly bath (no kidding) in my twin brothers' bath water (yeah, awful I know). My mom thought the incentive was popcorn (sometimes peanut butter fudge) but the truth is I got to get out and watch good vs evil for an entire evening.

2. "Have Gun, Will Travel" with Richard Boone?
Not sure, but I believe ZIV produced it.

The first and second seasons are out on DVD. You can order them from Amazon.com:

There's also a companion book out:

I LOVED Westerns as a child. We don't have real cowboys here in Virginia (LOL). Those shows fed my appetite for adventure!

3. That's it. My first bad good guy. Dressed in black on a grey horse
I'll admit the Chinese valet was probably a bit racist.

4. Mine, too . . .
Paladin, the anti-hero!

This is gonna sound so "old fogy", but they really DON'T make 'em like that any more. :(

Gotta agree with you concerning the Asian characters. "Hey Boy" and "Hey Girl", if I remember correctly.
