What's the best way to hide electric cables for goofy lighting? |
|
I took a 2 gallon fish tank, covered the inside with that phony snow substance that you shouldn't breathe in while applying but do anyway. I let it dry and then I added a set of christmas lights.
It's very pretty as the colors fade, but it's got this whalloping green cable coming out of it. D'you have any ideas on how to hide it or make it blend in better?

1. Find A Cheap Lamp Cord Somewhere |
|
Preferably a silver color and connect it to the Christmas Tree Lights with a couple of wire nuts inside the tank where it won't show.

My suggestion is try to splice it into something like some ZIP cable (SPT, lamp cord) with either wire nuts, butt connects, or my favorite, heat shrink ....
Or cut a hole in the bottom of the tank, run cable through that and down a leg of the table, under carpet to outlet.
Get creative, have fun!!!

3. What exactly is this contraption supposed to represent? |
|
I take it there are no fish in it ;)
Give us a better idea... I'm sure I'll have at least a couple of suggestions but I have no idea what you're doing with it and how to continue with your motif without additional details.
