WHat's your favorite 60s-comeback Elvis song?
(late 60s era)

For me, it's got to be Rubberneckin'. Groovy beat, keen lyrics, though the title is a tad weird... And Elvis was a hottie back then. :-9 I can see why the chicks dug him...

Paul Oakenfold (techno/rave artist) made a kewl remix too. There's about 500 of them on Kazaa, half of them are broken files and there are two different releases of remix, apparently. Both are good though. :-)

Now to find the actual CD...

came out before In the Ghetto and Suspicious Minds and sadly seems to have been forgotten

6. Yes, Elvis did a nice version of that, but...

...it was little more than a note-for-note re-do of the 1962 version by Ketty Lester.

Yes, the lyrics embrace a mindset that I find repulsive, but Elvis delivers them with such effortless swagger and aplomb, I can't help but love the damned thing.
