I'm Watching "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad Mad World" on AMC Now,... |
|
...and I'm thinking about the plot.
A group of greedy idiots goes looking for a fortune under a big W. Everybody comes up empty, in the hospital and quite possibly in jail.
Sounds like a metephor and cautionary tale for our times now, doesn't it?

Among the many lines that ALWAYS make me laugh is
Controller: "Whos flying the plane?"
Mickey Rooney (looking at a befuddled Buddy Hackett): "NOBODYS FLYING THE PLANE!"
