My house is empty!

The furchildren are in cat jail (kennel) and the place is just not the same. I am movong tomorrow and had the carpets cleaned yesterday, and I figured that the kids would just get fur all over the place again, so I took them to an all cats kennel. I was almost in tears when i dropped Pooky off, because I could still hear him meowing in the background as I left. Sometimes I wonder which of us is imprinted on the other, sigh... The positive side is that I will pick them all up tomorrow morning and we will immediately head for our new home (about 4 hours from here). I should finish cleaning by sometime this afternoon and then it is Nap Time (but without my naptime companions, it is not as restful, damn it!).:cry:

2. They are such a part of my daily life, I can't believe it...

ever since their 'Mom' left two years ago, it has just been the four of us, and we have managed quite nicely. I have even learned to speak 'catese' to an extent. This place is just too quiet without them running around, playing and generally cutting up.
