1. No problem!
I am an extremely frustrated former classroom teacher now adminstrator who sees the harm and the contradiction of one of the most stupidly written piece of education garbage ever. If you like my sig line, you will love this place.

NCLB atrocities

5. Good luck!
Are you in a state where you must pass some test to graduate. Oh and congrats on being so young yet so involved politically. When I was a senior in high school I was completely ignorant about politics.

6. My class gets to be the lab rats for all the NCLB crap...
First we spent a whole year being taught to a standardized test (I learned nothing) then they got rid of our level 1 classes and weighted grading (harder classes= greater impact on GPA). Now they are "considering" a graduation test. That would make it so no matter HOW bad you do in school, you can still graduate if you pass the test- you can try as many times as you want.

7. Classic NCLB results
Luckily we refuse to do that at my school; however, our ratings are low because we do not teach to the test but at least our kids learn.
