It's a beveled acrylic cube, in the center is etched a wolf on a hill howling, with a globe of the Earth in the sky.

It's about 3 or 4 inches high, and 2 inches across.

59. Almost the same trip I did in my truck a few weeks ago.

I'll start on the route 87, change to I 84 in Newburgh NY and then I 81 until I reach Virginia where I'll be almost at the top of the Skyline Drive which turns into the Blue Ridge Parkway to 501 south right into Chapel Hill.

I was trying to avoid using 84 & 81 but it doesn't look feasible. In preparation for the trip - today I went for a ride north on the Thruway then east on the Mass Pike then back home again, 225 miles. I really needed to spend some time at high speeds traveling alongside the 18 wheelers.

Yesterday I went 125 miles on the Taconic State Parkway. It's a beautiful curvy road with a speed limit of 55 mph. I found out that I'll be taking my leathers cause it's kinda chilly riding after dark in the country.

104. I found some awesome jeans on vacation.

They fit, they look good, they're comfortable, they look good, AND...they have no Lycra! They are 100% cotton (very difficult to find in jeans these days).

I bought three pairs.

Also...last Sunday, August 31, my family was all together. My parents, all five of their children, all of the children's spouses, and ten of the eleven grandchildren (the only grandchild missing was my 18-year-old daughter). We were all together for the first time in four years (and there are four more grandchildren than there were then!)
