I slammed my finger in the car door today
I was helping my aunt set up her classroom today and as we were getting ready to go to lunch, I guess my fatigue and hunger got the best of me because I closed the door right on my ring finger. Thankfully it just nipped the padding on my fingertip and not the bone. It's not broken but I have a hell of a bruise and it is making typing quite difficult...and to think I have to go back tomorrow and help out again.

1. well, you have a good excuse if you don't want to
By the way, put some ice on it a couple times an hour for about ten minutes.

4. I've been icing it a lot today...
I just hope I don't get a blood blister under my fingernail. It's mostly black and blue on the under side so I think I'm in the clear.

5. Ow. Try getting some ice on it to reduce the swelling.
Hope it's better soon!
