Poll question: So how long does it take you to 'get ready' in the morning?
It takes me about 45 minutes...after hitting the snooze button for about 30 minutes. Shower, breakfast, pack lunch, watch the news, get dressed and kiss the hubby goodbye.

Of course, in college it was 10 minutes to get ready and just go to class smelling of ass and bar.

How about you?

2. Hit the snooze button at least twice
shave, dress (showered the night before, so saved THAT time) make lunch, eat breakfast (I'm a SLOW eater), set VCR for shows to tape during the day, floss & brush - all up one hour 45 minutes.

VERY poor time management skills.......

7. ideally, an hour and a half, if not telecommuting...otherwise about 20 min
I need quite time in the morning if I have to leave the house... otherwise I start working after being up about 20 mins to half hour.

9. Since I have nothing to "get ready" for...........
being retired, it takes no time at all. My biggest time consuming effort every morning is booting up the computer and checking our DU.
Whew! It's "hard work" being me! But I'm just the guy to handle the job. ;)

12. About half an hour.
I've trained myself to get ready very quickly so I can sleep in as late as possible.

15. Just me? 20 minutes or so
30 if I'm showering. Coordinating getting me, daughter, and husband out of the house takes more like 45-60 minutes, depending on how cooperative everyone is feeling :)

16. Roughly 40 minutes
From the moment that I finally start to drag myself out of bed to leaving the house.

That gives time to shower, shave, dress and go.

I make lunch the night before and so just have to grab it, and eat breakfast at my desk.

I've never quite got folks who can manage it in less time than that - I've got time management down fairly well in terms of what is done in what order. I suppose that I'm just to vain and spend to long faffing with my hair &c. in the mirror.

If we include the time from when my alarm first goes off - that adds at least another 30 minutes (this morning it was an hour).

19. You and I have the same routine, minus
the kissing the hubby part. And add the part where I grit my teeth at the clock and cuss it for all it's worth. I'm not a morning person to say the least.
