Lunch in New Orleans today. What and where?
I have to go to town for some business this morning and then head straight for the Quarter for lunch, but where to eat?

- Blackened Shrimp Cesar Salad at Alpine
- Mahi-Mahi and Chips at Bubba Gump
- Anything on the Menu at Remoulades
- Seafood Platter at Deanie's
- Catfish Po-Boy at Quarter Scene
- Gator and Cajun Veggies at Coop's
- Cheeseburger in Paradise at Margaritaville
- Seafood Gumbo at Pere Antoine's
- Muffaletta at Central Grocery
- Louisiana Pizza Kitchen
- Or somewhere else

Decisions, decisions.

3. Take the St. Sharles street car.........
up to the Garden District and visit the VooDoo Barbecue. Best beef brisket I've ever tasted!

You can't go wrong with the Muffaletta at Central Grocery though. Yummmmm!

It's lunch, don't over do it. Dinner is coming up, you know? ;)

4. Have you tried
the new (relatively) Chartres House Cafe? Nice little place I found after I found that the Royal Cafe was gone.

Bubba Gump is always a good call. There's also the Crescent City Brewery, great sandwiches and raw oysters. Had my first raw oyster (with much Tabasco) there. Not as bad as I thought, but I won't be ordering a platter of them.

Decisions, decisions.
