Ten years ago today, I was in Army Airborne School

A 6'3" 180 pound beanstalk cadet. Best 3 weeks of my (short) Army career. Celebrated my 22nd birthday on Fryar DZ.

Wish I could go back and do it all over again.

1. I was an M1A1 Abrams tanker.
Our attitude was: "Why would anybody jump out of a perfectly good airplane?"

Of course, all the guys who'd earned airborne wings thought that tanks were deathtraps. So I guess fear is a relative thing.
