1. Here's the image:

Cute! I couldn't imagine making a cat wear it, though. But then again, maybe the cat would enjoy it.

And certainly doesn't look like this cat is actually wearing the things - looks like it was photoshopped. I don't know how they'd keep that little santa hat on the kitty.

2. Thanks for posting the picture

Does that Cat looked pissed off or what?

It's photo shopped because a cat doesn't even want to wear a collar let alone a hat.

3. Well, I really don't think that cat is wearing the thing
Edited on Sat Nov-08-03 03:33 PM by Rabrrrrrr
It looks totally unreal.

And the fringes of the scarf, the one pointing to our right, are completely unaffected by gravity. Perhaps they've been starched, but I doubt it. There're no shadows on the ensemble, but there are on the cats.

In fact, the more I look at it, I wonder if the scarf and hat are even real - I'm starting to think that they were actually "painted" right into the picture. No changes in color tone, the whites are all the same shade of white, the red is all the same shade of red, etc.

It's bizarre.

5. There is no way any cat I know would put up with that
for five seconds, even my incomparable Rhiannon. Though the colors are just right for her...

7. Thank you! If you ever notice you don't see too many black cats
pictured in catalogs and such. They just don't show up in photographs. My friend in animal rescue suggested putting her against a red background. I have more photos of her on, in and in front of that red chair! LOL!:D

10. OMG He looks like my Little Al
Edited on Sun Nov-09-03 12:45 AM by corarose
He is so damn cute and we both know that you don't mess with a red tabby cat because they are the boss.

My Boy has white feet and he looks so much like your little guy. I love the expression on his face.

How old is he?

Found at roughly 8 weeks on a rainy rural road. Never been bathed.

edit: This picture makes his head look big. He is actually quite normally proportioned.

12. I am on my second Red Tabby Persian
My first little guy died when he was 16 and he had a personality like no other cat.

Little Al is the size of a 6 month old kitten and he is 2 1/2 years old now. He picks fights with our large Turkish Angora Cat that we took in that was a stray. He is a little meanie and I love him.

13. Amos has mellowed over the years
But he can still scratch and bite if you move your arm near him the wrong way. Sorry to hear about your first cat. 16 years is supposedly a long time for a cat but it really doesn't seem long enough. I never wanted Amos (long story) but when I lose him (hopefully never) they'll have to medicate me heavily.

14. He died within 3 days after I found out he was sick
His daughter Ramona is going to die any day this week and I don't want to sound mean but I hope she goes fairly soon because my Sister refuses to let us get her put to sleep. She is going on 18 years old and she is so skinny that she is all bones.

My Little AL is my special little boy because he helped me get through my losing Garfield. Gar slept in my arms every night of his life and it was devastating losing him.

Your little guy has a long time left he is not that old.

He is so damn cute but you have to forgive me I am partial to Red Tabbies.

15. I really like them, as well
I have become partial to black cats because of my Rhiannon, but before that, I preferred the orange ones. The only cat I have known since he was a kitten is one a co-worker of mine rescued on his way to work in 1990, in the pouring rain. He was 1 1/2 lbs., had a bloody nose and ear mites. Such a sad little soul. He grew up into the most beautiful cat, a lovely color with four white feet. He also has a very distinctive personality. I am still very fond of him.

17. My Mama cat was a Tuxedo Cat
She was black and white and she was beautiful. I love Black Cat's and I have always wanted a Black Persian.

18. The cat I have now is also black
I lost my perfect Rhiannon in September of 2001 and still miss her. She was an amazing little being. I began feeding a cat outside shortly after losing her. I noticed this cat because she was also black, though short-haired, and thought she needed help. It took a "have-a-heart" trap to finally bring her in. Several hundred dollars later, because of dental work and ear surgery, she will finally let me pet her. Poor kitty must have been skittish because she was so uncomfortable. You will have your black Persian someday, corarose, I am sure. Is there a Persian rescue site? I would think that would be a good place to look.:-)

My rescued kitty::-)
