Like dipping your chip into salsa, taking a bite off the end, and then redipping the same bitten chip into the salsa. That, my good friend, is double dipping. DOnt' do it.

Not because not doing it threatens to crumble our very social structure, but because when people don't do it, I get pissed off.

I don't even ask women who are very obviously pregnant about their due date. It would be my luck that I'd ask the woman who looks ready to go into labor at any moment that question and she'd tell me she's not pregnant.

That bothers me more than anything else on your list. This woman at the convenience store today literally pushed me to cut in front of me. I pushed the bitch back and stepped in front of her.

11. Not tipping, talking in theatres, and cutting in line. |
|

I've worked for tips; I only tip 15% if I get bad service, and only withhold the tip if I get truly horrible and indifferent service. For good service, I'll tip 25-30%, and 20% is standard. The other two are just as bad, IMO.
Oh, and talking on a cell phone in the checkout line at the grocery. Loudly. Whilst gesturing with your free hand. About things that shouldn't be discussed in public. (Some people should just be neutered for the good of humanity...)

19. Nothing aggravates me more than people talking in a movie theater |
|
but nothing is more disrespectful than not tipping someone who performs a service for you, such as a waiter/waitress as that is the most common form, and depends on tips to make up for usually being paid minimim wage.
So I vote for a tie between the two.

looking through someone else's medicine cabinet - I never look through peoples stuff-but I sometimes inappropriately look through the fridge, with the fridge owner there-not so much anymore.
double-dipping - Having spent waaaaaay too much time in the hospital I find germ spreading :puke:worthy farting in the elevator - My dad used to do this-when there were at least two other people on with him. Then he'd glare at the others. Very rude. leaving the seat up - I've do this to myself, and find it rude. The 3 am splash is the worst wake up.
not tipping - Rude and selfish. Waitstaff work extremely hard and are paid not much. cutting in line - My sister does this all the time and made me do it when we went to see 'Amadeus'. She called it 'merging' I call it RUDE.
talking during movie in theatre - Depending on the movie, movie talkers should be frog marched out of the theatre. Some movies it's actually ok.
littering - Chop of their hands. Cigarette butts are litter too.
Fine list. I couldn't pick just one. I'd add-omission of the 'thank you' wave, or the words "Thank you" when someone does another a kindness. "Excuse me" is often MIA too.

Telling a reasonably attractive woman in a casual social situation that he would like to have sex with her and when she retorts, "But I'm an old woman. . ." responding by saying, "so? "
Not the appropriate response for seduction.
All in all and in the grander scheme of things, it's a really minor social faux pas I'd reckon.
