Question #2, Jeannie or Bewitched??
I preferred I Dream of Jeannie. I liked the physical humor, and the tension between the Major and Jeannie.

6. She was just naive.
And from a different time. So she seemed bimboie.

LOL.

Both shows were classic!

8. Yeah, but she was the one in control.
Titles mean nothing without the action to follow.

9. I thought both were great
But probably only for the reasons I mentioned, I liked Jeannie better. I thought Larry Hagman was great at physical comedy.

13. Which Darrin are we talking about?
The cast for Jeanie was fun - - but the plots were pretty bland.

Bewitched had much better scripts - - and supporting characters!

But Dick York's Darrin just irritates me to no end. If he's on, I'd vote for Jeanie just for that reason.

17. Bewitched. Definitely Bewitched.
While I liked the stars of both and like both shows, Betwitched was much better written, and had a bigger and better cast. Jeannie was kind of trapped by the outfit, and by the premise.

Jeannie became redundant long before Bewtiched did. That's a tribute to Bewitched's writers and to Bewitched's premise.

Jeanies are jeanies, and that's all good, but witches, witches are witches. There is a lore and a written history of witches, fictional and real - so Bewitched had more places to go, story wise.

Bewitched just had an edge that Jeannie didn't.

As for Barbara and Elizabeth, I am thankful for both, and the fact that they both played burnette characters in their series. But Elizabeth wins. She was just magical.
