Now that I've finished the new Harry Potter,
I've started rereading them from the beginning. It's even better the THIRD time through!

2. Depose, when you get through with Hogwarts, start the
George R R Martin series!
You ought to finish it up about the time volume 4 comes out!

A Game of Thrones
A Clash of Kings
A Storm of Swords

read in order if you know what's good for you.

Or you can read Robin Hobb's triple trilogy:

Farseer trilogy
Liveship Traders
Tawny Man Series.

5. Philip Pullman's
His Dark Materials.

Lyra and Will would beat up Ron and Hermione and take their lunch money.

17. That's the most tragic part....
I can just see JK wrapping up the first Harry Potter and going "Wait, Harry needs a best friend and side kick... who can I edit in?"

10. my evil plan exactly ..you figured it out. I am starting my own
re read as soon as I read Harry Potter IV; I was too involved in the Robin Hobbs to start Harry until I finished that series.

Have you read Robin Hobb, LeftyMOm? Martin recommends her books, that is how I learned about them

But whatever will I do with myself until then?

My life will be a void without Harry Potter...
