No, Never. I immediately change the station or turn off the radio in an attempt to keep that crap from running around in my head all damn day long.

Nay. "I'm a cowboy..." WTF!? you're from New effin Jersey for F's sake! Lame ass pretty boy hair metal of the worst kind, though the chicks did dig it.

11. Yeah, I sort of remember it.
"Stevie Ray Vaughn is dead, and we can't even get Bon Jovi up in a helicopter"

"It's always the talented guys like Hendrix who OD - you never hear about Motley Crue OD'ing..."

12. Motley Crue did OD
A couple of 'em anyway. But they survived-- they had people who got them to the hospital when they were in trouble.

That's the main thing, having somebody with you that can recognize when you're losing it and save your ass. There was a story once about a party where pop stars were snorting what turned out to be pure heroin, and one of the guys from the Average White Band was starting to turn blue. Cher-- yes, *that* Cher-- got hold of him, kept him from passing out, walked him around until the crisis passed.

Hendrix, unfortunately, had nobody around him except one of his dippy girlfriends, and she didn't know what to do (and was probably nearly as wasted as he was).

Anyway, as to the actual topic: Bon Jovi is as boring as they come.

I'll vote "yea" on using him as a moving target on a gunnery range, though.
