1. I heard this about driving the other day......
Pull over, drink some coffee, then nap for 30 minutes. It takes the coffee 30 minutes to really work on you and the nap gives you some relief/downtime. Good luck.

2. The only thing I can do is this:
I've got the same problem.

I get up, walk around, grab some coffee, and drink it.

The walking rarely helps, but the coffee eventually does.

I hate stimulants, but our oppressive society compels us to use them.

4. Get a sleep study done.
You might have sleep apnea. If you do, you're not getting enough oxygen into your system at night, and as a result are never getting a proper night's rest. Your insurance should pay for the test, if you're one of the lucky ones that still has insurance.

5. No, not sleep apnea
Stayed up too late last night drinking and having a pity party and then got up early in the morning to spend the day with my dad at the hospital. Just wore out.

7. Is this related to last night's decision to get drunk?
All I can suggest is coffee and get to sleep the minute you get home.

8. Yeah if you snore
you will be exhausted throughout the day.

Make sure you don't have a snoring problem.
