Jagger Bashes Bush On New Stones Album |
|

Rock legend Mick Jagger once promised to never comment on the political process in the United States -- but he's apparently changed his mind.
Jagger does some heavy bashing of President George W. Bush on the Rolling Stones' new album "A Bigger Bang."
He told Newsweek the song "My Sweet Neo Con" is "direct."
In it, Jagger calls Bush "a hypocrite" for calling himself a patriot. Here's a sampling of the lyrics:
"You call yourself a Christian, I call you a hypocrite/You call yourself a patriot, well I think you're full of s---."
Jagger, 62, told the magazine that he thinks the song worries Stones' guitarist Keith Richards a bit because he lives in the U.S.
"But I don't," Jagger said.
The Rolling Stones will kick off their U.S. tour to support "A Bigger Bang" Aug. 21 in Boston. The album comes out in September.

1. I'm not a big Stones fan, but I'll have to get this one. Nice bash! |

2. They should re-record "Sympathy for the Devil" |

I think it would be cool if they did the song the same way, and added one last verse about bush. The song needs an update!
