Gas prices: How high where you are, and the big one, rising how fast? |
|
Here in Colatown, starting around $2.199 for regular unleaded, but most places are about 8 cents higher. It seems to me that prices went up 5-10 cents in the last 2-3 days, but maybe I'm just sensitive 'cause I'm due for a fillup. And you?

26. Hmmm, glad y'all are finally getting a break, but I can't figure why it's |
|
rising everywhere else. Or rather, yes I can, but I can't figure why they'd want to give the NYC area a rest.

5. $2.63 for regular in Baltimore a few days ago. |
|
About a week and a half before that it was $2.49 for regular. And about a week before that it was $2.39 for regular. So I guess you could say it's risen almost $.30 in the last month.

I had to fly up to Cleveland last week to take care of some business. A friend was nice enough to loan me his Grand Cherokee for the 10 days I was there. After lunch last week, I was dropping him off at home, and he pointed out a Marathon station that was the cheapest around. Gas was $2.11.
I dropped him off at home, and came by the station again, 30 minutes later, intending to fill up. It was now $2.39. I got $20 worth, and came by a few days later and it was down to $2.26. Monday morning I got up, looked out my hotel bedroom window, and saw it was now 2.49!!! :wtf:
I'm back in the Tampa Bay area now, and it's hovering around $2.35.

:P but in less than 200 hours, I'll be back on my native soil, paying too much to drive my crap car, which I miss soooo much!
Public transport is irritating, when you have to use it all day, every day...:)

20. What are you talking about? |

Our wonderful leader recently said that he was very concerned with high gas prices and would do all he can to bring prices down. Those high prices you see are just figments of your LIEberal imagination. Besides, Kerry wanted to raise your gas prices by 50 cents! Now, shut up and go buy an Escalade.. CONSUME CONSUME CONSUME!
My best Rush/Freeper impression. Sorry I suck at it. :)
