1. This one's been out there for a while
The pukes must love this photo. They think it shows how tough he is. To me, it shows what we already know. What a cheatin', thievin' lyin', no good, phony this piece of shit is.

2. It is rugby and not ballet
It's a dirty hit, but not uncommon for a brutal sport like rugby or football. I'm sure the freepers love this crap. They probably have it posters size on their walls and who know what they do while looking at it. :loveya:

13. "dirty hit" -- that's Bush all over

Interestingly, the original pic showed up in the school yearbook AFTER he'd already left. In my experience, there's not much reason to show a photo of a student who's already graduated, unless that person is a) totally infamous on campus so even the frosh have heard of him/her; b) doing something so spectacularly stupid and yet in character that it's a timeless pic, or c) would have freaked out and caused major trouble for the yearbook editors if they'd printed the photo when s/he was on campus.

Take your pick!

By the way, DU's own Dogfolks, back in 2001, had quite the Yale story about GWB, collected during a campus visit -- since other students were talking about him, he must have been fairly notorious. There were hundreds of people there during his undergrad years, and the vast majority of students (even from smaller schools) don't get campuswide reputations.

6. My thoughts on this .....

The rugby team was short by one player to field a team that day so the coach sees this smirky doofus in the cheerleader squad and says "Hey you! Asshole! Come over here and just get in the way of those guys with the other colored uniforms."

And so, even though Dubya's collegiate athletic season only lasted one afternoon somehow it has a close parallel with his military career.

10. I doubt he played very long
The Yale teams never are any good so him making a team of losers makes sense.

14. Sounds like a normal rugby player to me.
Of course, that's only the tip of the iceberg. Ever see someone getting stomped on the head in rugby? Ouch.
