Hammy sounded like he was going to have a stroke in the 9th; that was a joy to listen to! I feel bad for Buddy Bell, though; how bad do you think he wants to be back sitting next to Eric Wedge in the dugout instead of managing that pathetic team?

but I was rooting for that, since the Skanks are ahead of the Twins in the Wild Card race. So we gained one there. I like the Cubs too, it is sad what has happened to the team since the all star break (the Twins have seriously swooned too.)

about the season until the day it ends and even then they still break my heart.
It started in 1969, continued in 1984 and 1989, but the absolute worst was what happened in 2003. I haven't been able to bring myself to watch or listen to a Cubs game since that infamous night in October, 2003. It's just too damn painful, but I'll always love the Cubs...
