Help - moving my whole iTunes collection to new computer
is there some set of steps that will accomplish this easily? Easily would be ideal, but I would settle for completely and correctly.

1. How are you transferring all your other files?
And how big is your collection?

I'd say best is to make your old HD a slave in your new PC and copy files over that way.

2. It's pretty big - > 4 GB
You probably have the right idea. Sadly, the target computer is a laptop, and I am not quite as confident with those, IDE-wise. Probably time to invest in a GB jump drive.

3. Either that or an external hard drive -
I think they make jump drives at least 5 GBs. You have an IPod, right? Can't you use that to transfer?
